Utilizing Mamushi, Kōsa causes the serpent puppet to release a large cloud of yellow poison mist that can blown towards the enemy by the wind. The poison will not cause any symptoms at first, but after an hour (or shorter if the afflicted has been fighting) the person afflicted by the poison will experience nausea, extreme fatigue and finally severe pain in the lungs, with each breath causing agony. The person afflicted by the poison will die within two days without an antidote.
