Hello everyone. Ok, this is a very important entry and I know that many of your can't be bothered to read so I will keep it short and sweet.
First of all, SIGNATURES . Guys, pleeeeeaaassseeee use the signature button, or at least leave your user name when you leave a comment on someone's OC talk page etc. I can see all of your IPs anyway, even if you are logged out, so if you make a rude comments or break the rules I assure you that you will not be able to hide. If I see that you simply log out and your IP matches that of a user, you will be in trouble. Unsigned comments, requests and complains will be ignored.
Also, when you make a comment on someone's talkpage, could you please first use the "Heading 2" and put a title for your comment please? It will make things easier for us to find and organize. Basically your comment should look a bit like:
Comment title[]
Hi this is an example comment so yay ^_^
(press the signature button at the top. It will appear as 4 "~" but will come up as your username to others.)
Secondly, Mary-Sueing. I see this a lot lately. It's ok if you're still developing your character and there are sue-bits here and there, that's ok. But please don't 'god-mod'. You can find all the guidelines on the front page of the NOW. You can also ask mods or others to help you out if you're having doubts. Don't be afraid to leave a link on my page asking to scan your article.
Thirdly, don't be offended by criticism. And don't be afraid to make it. However, both sides are requested to commicate with manners. So not like this:
"OMG Your character sucks so bad, she's such a mary-sue like ugh burn it with fire -.-"
Be more like this:
"Hi, I think your characted would do with some alterations, she has some Mary-Sue traits."
And don't respond to it like this:
"YEAH??!!! Well I don't care it's my character so I do what I want with it!!" <- by the way, no. We have rules here, stick to them or go somewhere else please.
If you get 2 or more Mary-sue messages, then please try to 'fix' your character. Of course... if the comments were SIGNED.
