The Ninja Art: Bloodline Absorption is a jutsu that was developed by Koga Hatake. It is a technique that allows the user to copy all kinds of abilities (even Kekkei Genkai, Kekkei Mora, Kekkei Dota and Dojutsu) by absorbing a small portion of the targeted individual's DNA. However, if the user wishes to copy a technique like the Mangekyo Sharingan, using this technique isn't enough, they'll have to go through the same trauma an Uchiha would for the Mangekyo to work. In other words, using this technique grants the user the ability to acquire someone else's abilities and learn how to 'awaken' them for themselves, but to actually use them, the user will have to learn the required hand seals, possess the chakra required to use the copied ability etc. However, there's a high chance that the user will have their chakra drained out of them and die after using this technique if they don't know how to perform it right, so Koga chose to teach it to a handful of Shinobi which he was sure they would manage to perform the jutsu safely. Koga managed to create this technique by studying the Chimera Technique that Hiruko had developed. By using this technique, Koga has managed to master all kinds of unique techniques that he has come across.
