Mira Uchiha (みらうちは, Uchiha Mira) is a surviving member of the Uchiha-Clan. She escaped the Uchiha-massacre thanks to her mother. After that, she started to roam the country and took on various, shady jobs for a living. She does not affiliate herself with any villages.

Background[]

Mira Yuriko2 — Mira's mother deserts the village with her daughter. ^[1]

Mira Uchiha lived together with her mother Yuriko and her father Takeru in the Uchiha compound. Her father was an important figure in the clan and attended the clan meetings. He was one of the clan members that strongly agreed with the Coup d'État. When Yuriko found out about this decision, she decided to desert the village with her daughter, since she doesn't want to be involved in the violence. She was a very peacful woman. They escaped to the border of the Land Of Fire and settled down to live a quiet life in a small town for a short time. Yuriko continued to train Mira in swordsmanship and ninjutsu, so she'd be able to defend herself. Danzō, who had noticed the two Uchiha deserting the village, had been looking for them since and sent his subordinates after them to assassinate mother and daughter.

Mira S Awaken — Mira awakens her Sharingan.

They lived peacefully together for a while, until one night the ANBU Root members, who were sent after them, managed to track them down. Yuriko tried to fight them off while Mira was in hiding, but eventually got overpowered. Mira left her hiding place due to an uneasy feeling in worry for her mother, equipped with her weapon. As she stepped outside, she witnessed her mother getting stabbed by the last Root member standing. Recalling her training, she charged at the enemy in panic, thus awakening her Sharingan. Mira managed to kill the stranger from behind, but it was too late for her mother. She was able to exchange a few last words with her, as Yuriko told her to always live carefully and to be strong, to never let anybody take advantage of her. Her mother also wishes for her to hide her true identitiy in order to not attract attention. She was aware that Danzō would look for her. Now Mira was all alone for the first time in her life. She proceeded to bury her mother and left the town.

Mira And Yui I — Yui finds Mira after a failed attempt to steal food. [1]

Mira wandered from one small town to another and attempted theft in order to survive. She often stole from bakery and shops to be able to eat. She was rather good at it, but often got caught due to being inexperienced.

After getting beaten up one day, a girl, who introduced herself as Yui found Mira crying and took her in. She led a group of thieves and showed her how to fight.

Mira used to be a very playful, cheerful child. She always preferred playing games with the other kids over training her nin-jutsu. It was her father who pushed her to train more. Everytime he did, Mira felt unhappy and it drained her a lot. But she gave her best because she wanted to make her parents proud. Even though her father was very strict, she still loved him dearly. Trough her mother's unconditional love, Mira developed a very soft side. She loved to cuddle and play with her mother. This behavior was resented by her father. She would always feel very embarassed if he saw her getting too close to her mother. He always claimed it made her weak. She would often act tougher than she was just to impress her father, but he'd usually see trough her pretense and react coldly to her. These reactions would lead Mira to seek out her mother's warm love more often than usually.

Mira Uchiha inherited the typical Uchiha-traits from both her parents. Her hair and eyes are obsidian black and her skin is very pale, giving her a ghostly appearance. Typically she is seen wearing golden, dangling pearl earrings which were giving to her by her mother. She has her hair cut short as a child, but grows it out very long over time. She usually wears a traditionally japanese inspired haircut.

By the time of her debut, Mira ties a portion of her hair to a high, short ponytail, which will become her signature trait. She wears a dark taupe, skin tight dress with light grey safety shorts underneath. A light grey obi is tied around her waist with a red cord. She wears dark grey tigh-high shoes, fingerless gloves and paints her nails a dark color to match. She alters her outfits several times, when she goes through significant change.

During the 4th Shinobi War, she wears a similar outfit, but with a blue undertone. Her obi is wrapped with a golden cord.

Abilities[]

Mira has an affinity to fire nature. She has not yet tried learning any other chakra natures. She mostly relies on her kenjutsu.

Ninjutsu[]

Fire Release: Dragonfire Blaze (竜の火焔の; Ryūnokaen no Jutsu)

A fire jutsu which casts blue flames. They have higher energy and burn hotter than regular orange flames, but they also cost Mira a lot more chakra. It spreads over a wide area, but they burn out quickly.

Genjutsu[]

Fire Release: Dance Of The Blue Butterflies (蝴碧舞の術; Kohyakumai No Jutsu)

Mira casts a Gen-Jutsu that catches the victim in illusions on sight. When they look at the burning butterfly, the Gen-Jutsu is complete. They will see illusions of people or things that aren't really there. The Jutsu camouflages itself as Nin-jutsu, so the target will be tricked into thinking they're not affected by a Gen-Jutsu.

The illusions will emulate the surroundings and make the target see its opponent, but they will find themselves unable to hurt them. Skilled shinobi will be quick to dispell the Jutsu, but they will have to find out they're caught in a Gen-Jutsu first. The butterflies can be sliced, but it won't show any reaction, leaving the victim in confusion. It will emit heat and then dissappear.

Kenjutsu[]

Mira relies heavily on her Katana. Her fighting style revolves around it. Taught by her mother and friends, she has become a very skilled swordsman. What she lacks in strength, she makes up for with speed, agility and technique. She has a very aggressive style and ties her strikes together with her Sharingan. Thus, she can predict her opponents movements and counter them perfectly. She also teaches this to sarada.

Sharingan[]

Mira is a member of the Uchiha Clan and thus inherited the dōjutsu kekkei genkai Sharingan (写輪眼, literally meaning: Copy Wheel Eye) and can use all its abilities.

Mira is able to see Chakra visibly in color along with its flow, as well as disruptions within it, for example when affected by genjutsu. She's granted incredible clarity of perception, making her able to notice small details in movement. Fast-moving objects are easily processed by the Sharingan and can be predicted to a certain amount. Slight muscle tension is detectable by the Sharingan and gives away the next move.

Mangekyō Sharingan[]

Mira has awakend the Mangekyou Sharingan (万華鏡写輪眼, literally meaning: Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye) after her friends' passing, which caused a lot of emotional pain for her. Her eyes are shaped like a windmill.

Susanoo

Mira is able to use the Susanoo in an incomplete state. She uses it for protection only when there's no other way, since it's very straining on her. As Mira does not have the eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, she has to be careful with how much she uses her dōjutsu. Mira's Susanoo has a yellow color and wields a katana.

Kageokuri Mira's unique Mangekyou Sharingan ability is the Kageokuri (影おくり, literally meaning: Shadow See-Off). This technique gives Mira the ability to enter another plane in space which imitates the terrain around her. It takes a moment in time and holds it on this plane, on which Mira is able to move freely. Any other instance is frozen in time, such as animals, people, or moving objects.

Mira is able to move very close to a person, but she herself is unable to touch them. Being in physical contact with another living being, such as a person or an animal, hinders her to enter Kageokuri's plane, since it would immediately collapse again. In this plane, Mira is able to see the Ryōen (灵焔, literally meaning: spiritual flame). These are visualized as colorful flames, originating from a persons heart. Its color lets Mira make conclusions about people and their intentions, about how their heart is shaped. These flames burn at a very hot temperature, which makes it hard for Mira to apporach them in Kageokuri's plane. The closer she gets to a living being, the more unbearable it becomes. If a person's life comes to an end, the flame will extinguish slowly, which makes Kageokuri a good execution move. She's also able to make statements about a person's physical state and overall health by looking at the Ryōen.

Mira Mangekyou Sharingan III — Mira in the Kageokuri realm, able to see Naruto's Ryōen.

Mira uses this ability to teleport around on the battlefield. She's able to uphold the frozen plane for roughly 15 seconds, but it collapses easier the more she moves within it. As she doesn't want to strain her eyes too much, she usually only activates it multiple times in a row for about 3 seconds only, to teleport around quickly in combat. With this, she tries to get as close as possible to her opponent and strike them without them expecting it, since the move isn't detectable for somebody without the Mangekyou Sharingan. This will leave her opponents little to no time to dodge, as Mira charges at them with her Katana or different weapons.

Mira is also able to take people with her onto Kageokuri's frozen plane. She facilitates this with her left eye. For this to work, she needs to be in direct contact with the living being. In this case, they will be transported to the plane alongside Mira. Their Ryōen will not visualize and thus not burn Mira. They will be able to move around in the same manner as Mira, with the same restrictions, although they're unable to see the Ryōen, unless they're in possession of the Mangekyou Sharingan. Even though they don't have the ability to see the spiritual flames, they will still be burnt by them when approaching them too closely. The person who follows Mira to the frozen space is unable to control it. The duration is entirely controlled by the one holding the Mangekyou Sharingan posessing the Kageokuri ability.

Mira Uchiha Yui Akino Mission — Mira on a mission with Yui.

Mercenary days[]

Mira Uchiha had joined a group of thieves which turned into a criminal organization. They took on jobs for money, which weren't officially listed, often performing illegal doings. They often worked together with other, similar groups that performed criminal acts in order to get the bounty. Yui and Mira were both skilled and trained as Genin, which made them very successful on these jobs. It would often happen that Yui and Mira scam the groups they partnered up with for the price money. Mira also acted more and more careless in fights, using her Sharingan more frequently in order to show off. She would put her opponents in Genjutsu in order to make them forget about her. One day a member of another criminal organisation was able to escape them and planned revenge against them.

Mira's group received a fake job offer with an impressive payment which included breaking a person out of prison. They accepted the job, not thinking about a possible fraud. At the location, they were surprised and taken out. They had been led to one of Orichimaru's hideouts where strong opponents, such as Cursed-Mark-Users as well as Sasuke Uchiha laid in wait. The group members were wiped out, while Yui and Mira, who were able to survive due to their professional training, were imprisoned at the hideout to be used as test subjects for a human experiment supervised by Kabuto. In prison, Sasuke has suspicions about Mira potentially being from the Uchiha Clan.

Eventually, scientists came to pick up test subjects for the ongoing experiment, which hadn't been survived by any of them before. As they came to take Mira away, Yui tried to protect her and was taken in her stead. The experiment failed on her as well and resulted in her early death.

Mira escape — Mira slaughtering the prison guards.

After seeing Yui's corpse being transported out of the facility, Mira awakens the Mangekyou Sharingan and manages to escape the prison cell the next moment scientists came to pick her up,using her unique Mangekyou Sharingan ability Kageokuri. In the process, she slaughters the prison guards, taking a life for the first time. She then leaves the hideout, killing all the guards in her way and wanders aimlessly through the nearby land. not knowing what to do.

Mira Team Hebi — Mira Uchiha in Team Hebi.

The following days, Mira was tracked down by Sasuke, who was in the process of forming Team Hebi. After seeing her in the prison cell a week ago, he had a suspicion she might be a fellow Uchiha Clan member. He then seeks her out to confirm his suspicion. Mira joins Team Hebi and Sasuke's mission to take revenge on Itachi after hearing about the Uchiha Clan Massacre from him.

Itachi Pursuit Mission[]

Mira continues to travel with Team Hebi. As the whole team is set out to acquire information on Itachi's whereabouts, Mira is approached by Kabuto in the forest. She intends to kill him in order to obtain revenge for Yui's death, yet is stopped in her tracks, as he tells her about an unspecified truth in order to bring discord into Team Hebi as well as to save himself. She releases Kabuto and leaves.

Mira spots Deidara's clay bird in the sky, which she remembers from past missions she was hired for alongside Deidara and her past interactions with the Akatsuki. She decides to seek it out in order to question Deidara about Itachi, since she knew they are part of the same organization. She arrives during the finale of Sasuke and Deidara's fight and is able to save Sasuke by using her unique Mangekyou Sharingan Ability Kageokuri on him in order to gain more time and transfer chakra for him to be able to execute the summoning of Manda, to escape Deidara's fatal Jutsu C0. Suigetsu then proceeds to summon Mira and Sasuke, inside of Manda, who was still shortly caught in the blast. This causes Manda to die and leaves Mira and Sasuke injured.

Team Hebi takes a rest in an inn, as Sasuke was very strained from the fight. Mira reflects on her past and regrets the passing of Deidara, who she came to like during her days as a mercenary. Karin senses the Hidden Leaf Shinobi approaching in pursuit of Sasuke and alerts Team Hebi. They leave the inn and return to their original mission to find Itachi.

Fated Battle Between Brothers[]

Mira Chakra Analysis — Mira analyzes Sakura's channeling of chakra in her fist.

While on the search for Itachi's location, they're being hunted by the Hidden Leaf Shinobi, who split up to seach a wider area. Karin suggest somebody should distract them, as one was coming too close. Mira volunteers and encounters Sakura in a fight. Sakura is surprised about the appearance of another Uchiha, as she tries her best to match the power of the Sharingan. Mira uses her Mangekyou Ability on her and analyzes her fighting abilities, acknowledging her strength, but fighting her off with ease, being a natural counter to her fighting style. Sakura develops strong dislike towards Mira and tells her she, as well as the other Team Hebi members, are dragging him further into darkness. At this point, Mira starts wondering about Sasuke's previous life, before she joined him. Karin interrupts the fight, informing Mira about the finding of Itachi's location, making her leave the fight with her.

Itachi invites Sasuke to the location for their destinied showdown. Team Hebi is made to stand by while the fight is being held. Mira does not engange in combat against Itachi, as she has no personal grudge against him and respects Sasuke's wish for a one on one fight.

During that time, Mira meets Kabuto, who had been lurking in the forests. Kabuto insisted on speaking to Mira, but she initiates a fight. She sees Kabuto as her enemy, as he was the one who supervised the experiments conducted in the hideout, where Yui and Mira were briefly imprisoned, until Yui was eventually killed by it. Mira was initially intending to kill Kabuto in the forest, but he makes her believe he knows about certain informations, that Mira needs. It is unclear, what exactly he spoke to her, but Mira changes her mind and lets him live, uncertain of what to believe. Kabuto leaves with the promise of them meeting again. This leaves Mira with a very uneasy feeling. Sasuke defeats Itachi and is left injured. Tobi brings Sasuke to his hideout and tells him about his true intentions. Thus, Team Taka is formed, which Mira joins hesitantly.

In order to gain Tobi's alliance, Team Taka is sent to capture the Eight-Tails. During the battle with its jinchūriki, Killer-B, the team is pushed to the limits. Mira supports Sasuke during the sword fight, as they're able to match each other well with the use of the Sharingan. Mira uses her unique Mangekyou ability Kageokuri to even out the fight, but ultimately they seem to be losing the fight. After Sasuke uses his own unique ability Amaterasu, they manage to gain the upper hand and seemingly defeat Killer-B.

Five Kage Summit[]

As it became clear, that Team Taka had failed to deliver the Eight-Tails, Tobi intercepts them on their way to Konoha to give them a new mission. Tobi explains to Sasuke, that Konoha had already been destroyed and orders them to infiltrate the Five Kage Summit, which will be attended by Danzō Shimura, the new Hokage, in order to kill them. Mira wants to join the hunt for Danzo eagerly, who she finds out is who her own revenge is directed at, the person behind her mother's assassination. They travel to the Land of Iron together, led by White Zetsu.

3Mira VS Jun — Mira and Jun meet in battle.

Upon arriving at the venue, Mira takes out the guards with her Genjutsu Dance Of The Blue Butterflies. They enter the building, where soon they will be revealed to the attending Kage by White Zetsu. The Raikage and his company set out to hunt for Team Taka. Sasuke engages in a fight with him, while Mira is drawn into combat with Jun Senju, who had been infiltrating the summit as well to oversee things for Tsunade, who had been out of commission at the time. They have a conversation about Sasuke, which makes Mira question his motives more and more. Mira had gone along with Sasuke's plans so she could stay around and be close to the last family she has left.

Naruto Uzumaki[]

While being on Team Hebi/Taka, Mira has heard a lot about Naruto and even occasionally met him, but never directly interacted with him. She was told things and thus had a bad image of him, as she was on his opposing side. Mira and Naruto directly meet shortly after Danzō's death, when she was taken into custody by Konohagakure. She interacts with Naruto a lot at that time and realizes what a good person he is. They grow very close over time. Naruto becomes her first friend in Konohagakure. He's essentially the trigger as to why Mira is trying to change herself. She decides to save Sasuke together with him, as he's becoming a true inspiration for Mira.

Jun Senju[]

Jun and Mira meet for the first time during the Five Kage Summit, which Jun is attending undercover. After Team Taka's infiltration, Jun and Mira engage in combat. As Mira is able to sense a shift in Sasuke's behavior, she's growing more unsure about the plan and his intentions. Jun is able to strengthen these feelings with her words during the fight, yet Mira proceeds to execute the plan to chase after Danzou.

Takeru Uchiha (father)[]

Mira's relationship with her father was very cold. Although she had loved him and cared for him, he saw her as a tool to compete with the other Clanmembers. It was Takeru's wish for Mira to become stronger than the other Uchiha children. Hearing about Itachi and Shisui being prodigies, he himself wanted a child who'd be praied in this manner. Mira didn't entirely live up to his expectations. He made her train most of the time and uesd to be very strict with her, which made her very strong from a very young age on. But still she could never compare to Itachi or Shisui, bringing her father the praise he wanted. Thus, he'd always see her as kind of a disappointment. He was aware she was still very young, so he tried to push her even harder to reach the levels he desired, even isolating her from the other Uchiha children. Mira wasn't allowed to play with the others or have much free time in general. Takeru would always push for her to practice what he taught her.

Yuriko Uchiha (mother)[]

Mira's mother was a very peaceful woman and loving towards Mira. When Mira got home from practice, she'd be greeted by her mother in a very loving way and feel the warmth her father never gave her. Yuriko doesn't agree with the way Takeru treats their daughter, but she has no word in raising her. Yuriko tries to be here for her daughter as much as she can be. To her, Mira is her everything and she'd do anything to protect her. Yuriko is also Mira's best friend for a long time, since she's so cut off from the other children. She plays with her mother most of the time when she's finished with training. Although she's aware it doesn't please Takeru, Yuriko tries to give her daughter at least a little bit of a normal life as a child.
