The Fukumatsu family (ふくまつ一家, Fukumatsu Ikka) was a powerful and respected samurai clan from the Land of Iron. They were mostly known for their unique method of blacksmithing.

The family was founded long before the founding of the hidden villages, during an era of endless wars between mankind. Originally, the Fukumatsu were a group of thirty people, named after their leader, who swore loyalty to the Ōtsutsuki Clan. Most of them fell victims of a political intrigue, no longer after Kaguya's sealing. The survivors have formed a small settlement on the territory of the Land of Iron where they helped to the development of numerous sword techniques.

  • "Fukumatsu" (福松) means "highest blessing": "Fuku" (福) meaning "blessing""fortune""luck" and "Matsu" (松) meaning "highest".
